I have been training at TOIC for over a year now, and love the pace of the class, the information we are provided before every quarter on what to expect and how we can mentally prepare ourselves for it. I appreciate the care for personal boundaries and sensitivities Coach B has, I am very sensitive to sound and he was happy to have me wear earplugs in class and also suggested what times I can come in to train when noise is less. Hi Bharathi, when I started this part of the fitness journey I was sceptical since I travel 2 weeks a month and wouldn’t be able to do a consistent program. So the first thing I liked about TOIC was it’s flexibility. I like any program or person who listens to his customers and tailors a suitable program. Next is the part of the group training I have now started enjoying and looking forward to. It is a combination of strength and resistance training with focus on mobility and targeting traditionally weak muscles and joints. The popularity of the program is such that some days I wish there was more space but nothing to complain about. I think Bharathi is genuinely focused on knowing personally what each person wants or is looking for, so he tries to create modifications within his program to suit each and every one. This is Aarathi here. I have been strength training for over 8 years and it’s safe to say that I have found my home in TOIC, in coach Bharathi. Everyone who’s been training for a while knows that your journey is never a straight line. With the pandemic, came disruptions in training, nutrition and health, and I struggled quite a bit to get back into training. Enter coach B.


He gently eased me back into training, with no judgements, or comments whatsoever. Even without it being said, he somehow understood exactly what I needed, and delivered just that. Be it the occasional in person classes to sprinkle a little excitement, or the accessible virtual classes, I found myself slowly falling in love with training once again, and being regular over time. He’s also an expert in training around injuries and has an excellent non-invasive method of coaching that just works for me. I also noticed that his coaching techniques and his understanding of strength itself continues to evolve over time, and it has a way in integrating in your programming, making your body and mind do things previously unheard of. I also found an excellent coach and professional cheerleader in Anitha, who conspires with coach B to make classes equal parts deadly, and fun for us.

I started the fitness journey with TOIC over a year ago and I look forward to the weekly three sessions so much so that I have rearranged schedules to fit this in. Bharathi is a considerate but tough coach who tries to fulfill individual expectations of the program. This program is a combination of mobility, strength and resistance and focuses on training different muscles on different days. I appreciate the work being done by him and his dedication. I look forward to many more years and sessions. I used to get severe head aches and pains and since I started doing these sessions I have been spared of the pain and that is a big relief and thank Bharathi and his coaching for that. There are numerous reasons to work out, and just as many to train with Coach Bharathi. Before joining his classes, I relied on YouTube videos and had a trainer once. The difference was immediately apparent after starting his sessions; the nuances of each move, which you can’t learn anywhere else, stood out. Coach Bharathi is not pushy; he understands the daily situation and tailors the workout accordingly. I often wonder how he manages to closely monitor everyone in the online class and provide prompt, accurate feedback. I always admire his passion and dedication. – Kalavathi
